Abstract Today, the development of the Internet and mobile technologies has a great influence on consumer purchasing patterns. As online purchases using mobile devices increase, the delivery industry for logistics delivery has also increased significantly. However, the working environment in the logistics warehouse is still poor. To improve this, many companies have conducted a lot of research and development on logistics robots, and various logistics robots have been operated. But, there are still limitations to unmanned. In this paper, a variable focus function camera and RSS model used in autonomous vehicles were derived to be suitable for AGVs. It was applied to the derived AGVs and verified in terms of safety and accuracy, and valid result were obtained. It is expected that this study will contribute to the use of AGVs that can operate unmanned logistics warehouse.
